Actor Paul Scofield passed away on the 19th of this month at the age of 86, after a battle with leukemia. He is seen here as St. Thomas More in A Man for All Seasons, a role that won him both an Oscar and a British Academy of Film and Television Arts award. Like the great saint he portrayed, Scofield was known as a man of brilliant intellect. He is survived by Joy Parker, his wife of 65 years, and two children.
